This is your time to express who you are, your personality, your passions, and your journey. Whether it's the sports you love, the hobbies that light you up, or the style that’s all your own, we'll create a portrait experience that's uniquely you.

From the first outfit change to the last candid laugh, every moment we capture is about celebrating the real you, not just for today, but for the memories you’ll carry for a lifetime.

1. Do you travel for Senior Experience Sessions?

Yes! I’m happy to travel to help bring your senior portrait vision to life. Sessions outside a 20-mile radius of zip code 53227 may include a travel fee of $0.75 per mile (round trip). Additional costs (including locally) such as location permits, admission or parking fees, extended session time, or hotel stays (if needed) may also apply. All travel-related fees will be clearly discussed and agreed upon in writing before your session is confirmed—no surprises!

If your senior is under 18, please note that a parent or legal guardian must be the main point of contact during booking, planning, and image selections—and must be present for the full session. Seniors are welcome to share ideas and be involved in the planning process, but all final decisions must come from an adult. This helps ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone involved!

2. Do you help with planning our Senior Experience?

Absolutely! I'm here to make the planning process fun and stress-free. From location ideas to outfit inspiration, I’ll help you bring your vision to life. I also share helpful blog articles covering what to do (and what to avoid) when preparing for your senior portrait session—so you feel confident and ready to shine.

While I’ll guide you with creative direction, it's the client’s responsibility to handle details like contacting coaches for venue access or uniforms, and keeping track of your school's yearbook photo deadlines. Together, we’ll create a senior experience that’s uniquely you!

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Living in Wisconsin, I know that weather and locations can be unpredictable—so I do my best to be flexible when life happens. If you need to cancel more than 7 days before your session, your retainer can be applied to a future date. Cancellations made within 7 days of your session will result in a forfeited retainer. Reschedules due to illness, weather, or emergencies are handled at my discretion and based on availability.

Sessions begin at the scheduled time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session time may be shortened or canceled without a refund. To make the most of your experience, I recommend arriving early and ready to go. A smooth, on-time start helps us capture your best moments without the stress!

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

At Simply Junique, all of my senior packages include high-resolution digital files with a personal print release. I tailor each package to meet the unique needs of both seniors and their parents—whether it's digital images for sharing on Instagram or files ready to print and frame for the wall. While I do not currently offer printed products or albums, the flexibility of digital delivery allows you to print your favorite images anytime, anywhere.

Each package includes a different number of edited images, session time, and style options—so you can choose the one that fits your vision best!

5. Do you have a recommended Location?

Yes! I have a list of favorite local spots that photograph beautifully throughout the year—whether you're looking for nature trails, urban backdrops, or school spirit on the field. I’ll recommend locations based on your style, personality, and the vibe you want for your session.

If you already have a place in mind, I’m happy to explore that too! Keep in mind that some locations may require permits or fees, which we’ll discuss ahead of time. Together, we’ll choose the perfect setting that helps your senior portraits feel like you. (See question number two about planning.)

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! I welcome your ideas and inspiration—it’s important that your senior portraits reflect your personality and style. Feel free to share poses or concepts you love, and I’ll incorporate them while bringing my own creative vision to ensure your images are authentic and uniquely yours.

That said, I avoid copying or replicating exact poses from other photographers or heavily edited images from platforms like Pinterest. Some images may be staged or photoshopped in ways that aren’t achievable in a natural portrait session. My goal is to create beautiful, genuine photos that highlight the real you, using professional techniques and creativity.

7. Can we meet before the session?

I love connecting with my seniors and their families to make sure your session goes smoothly! During the busy senior season, I find it easiest to chat by phone, email, text, or even FaceTime to answer questions and plan your session. These options allow us to connect quickly and conveniently without scheduling delays.

If you prefer an in-person meeting, I’m happy to meet for a cup of coffee or tea and discuss your session face-to-face. Just reach out early to coordinate a time that works for both of us!

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

I aim to deliver your final edited photos within 14 business days after your session. Business days exclude weekends and holidays, as I dedicate those times to shooting sessions and spending time with my family. Thanks for your patience—I’m committed to providing beautiful images you’ll love!
