The Senior Essentials Session

What to Know Before Your Essentials Session

1. Be on Time (or Early!) This session is short and sweet, and every minute counts! Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early, especially if your location may have entry lines, parking delays, or admission requirements. This ensures you're ready to begin right at your scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or forfeiture of your slot, as sessions are scheduled back-to-back.
2. I’ll be there early and ready to meet you, especially at locations that require admission or check-in. Please plan ahead and do the same so we can make the most of your moment!
3. Permits & Entry Fees. Clients are responsible for covering any location-related costs, including admission tickets, parking fees (example: Milwaukee County Zoo), or photography permits required to access your chosen location (example: Boerner Botanical Gardens), for both you and the photographer.
4. If you're unsure whether your location requires a permit or entry fee, I’m happy to help you find out ahead of time so there are no surprises on the day of your session!
5. Come Dressed & Ready. There won’t be time for outfit changes, so please arrive fully dressed and camera-ready.
6. Keep It Simple. A quick game plan works best. You may have time for a quick shirt change, but full outfit changes may not fit the time frame. If you have a specific pose or shot in mind, let me know ahead of time!
7. Limit the Group Size. This session is designed for individuals to ensure we capture essential, high-quality shots in a short time frame.
8. Know the Location Make sure you've confirmed access if shooting at a school or public space, and know exactly where we’ll meet. When booking this mini session at a school location, such as the gym, hallway, track, or court, please confirm with the appropriate school administrator that the space is available and accessible on your selected date and time.
9. Have Fun & Be Flexible. Quick sessions are fast-paced, but we’ll still capture great moments! Relax, trust the process, and enjoy it.
10. Final Images & Delivery. You’ll receive a five-image gallery of the best shots, edited and delivered digitally within 14 business days.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will not be refunded in cases of tardiness, no-shows, or cancellations for any reason. In the event of an act of God (such as extreme weather or emergency closures), every effort will be made to accommodate a reschedule.
